"Horse Love" is a sample of what you can expect from Animoto … it was put together in 30-minutes and the photos were taken while spending an evening with two daughters and a horse! Just a simple evening, but meaningful to these girls who thought it was so GREAT to have these memories recorded! They loved it! Let the fun begin as the whole family contributes their favorite photos, music, and stories into "Animoto". Create your free account and get started right away. It's as simple as uploading photos, arranging them in the order you want, adding text at the click of a mouse, selecting musical background from hundreds of songs, and then publishing! Your free account allows you to compose a 30-second video (about 14-15 slides). If you want longer videos you can upgrade your account.
After you create your Animoto account, you will want to establish a YouTube account (also free), if you don't already have one. You decide if you want the content to be public or private. From your Animoto account, you may wish to export your video to YouTube. Benefits of storing in YouTube are that it's very simple to copy the "embed code" and place your video in a blog, such as I've done at the top of this page. You also are able to download your video to your hard drive (highly recommended) from both Animoto and YouTube.
Having online storage, hard copies, and hard drive copies of your work is high recommended. It's kind of like the philosophy that goes along with "don't put all your eggs in one basket."
