I Notice
By: Susan Deborah Schiller
I notice my mind is filled with the energy of millions of subconscious thoughts, not unlike the constellations of city lights stretching from town to town. These lesser lights blink on over worries, doubts, and fears.
In the midst of the artificial light show of fear-based thinking, I miss the most amazing light show of all. I fail to notice the star sentinels blazing trails across the sky. I fail to notice the ancient Light that is created to shine in the dark places of my mind.
I let the lights of my own thinking blink off, and once again I become a star-gazer traveling the ancient paths, navigating under the Light of Heaven.
Until I embrace the darkness as well as the light, I will fail to notice God's provision and the presence of Eternal Life, even inside the worries, doubts, and fears.
I choose to notice Heaven's glory shining in the dark places of my soul. There is no place where He is not, and today I choose Love to shine, to sing, and to blaze through those dark spaces of limited beliefs.
I choose to see by faith, in the Light of His Glorious nature. The heaven's declare His Beauty, His Majesty, His Provision, and His Truth.

What a lovely post, so wonderful. Loved it. [Headed over from FMF]
Thanks for your kind words, Helen 🙂
In the midst of a dark night of the soul myself. It's always so easy to get overwhelmed by fear-based thinking.. and this visual helps me. Thank you.
That dark place is a beautiful place of wonders, once we can get past the fear… and maybe that’s one reason God allows us to experience the darkness. His wisdom is beyond my understanding, but I’ve grown to be grateful for the darkness! Thanks so much for sharing, Stephanie!
