The Most Beautiful People are Formed by Trials

 Dear sister, my heart goes out to you. I understand the emotional and spiritual exhaustion you feel at this point. I know you have tried everything there is to position your husband to obey and love God. You have honored God in the face of being tested to your very core. ANY woman unloved by her husband, causes God to tremble. Rejection is the antithesis of LOVE and everything God Himself stands for. 

First, I want to say that, I BELIEVE YOU.

Your marriage relationship and how it is affecting you is just as painful an experience as anyone's. I know that you tend to measure your level of pain against others. God does not see us like this. No one has lived your life or understands the circumstances, events, the wounding or the number of tears you have cried. No one knows what you have dealt with in the secret place of your mind and heart. The Lord loves you individually and loves everything about you and His heart breaks over everything that makes your heart breaks. There is no child of God that when they are crushed in spirit He is not moved to His depths too.

He will have compassion on you and on YOUR CHILDREN! Do not ever forget this.

Dear heart, it is true that there are no guarantees in this life but there are truths that we can and do cling too that are forever unshakable and immutable.

God is true and LOVES you and ALL that He says, is true and can be counted on.

No matter what we go through, no matter how unjust and unfair life is and whatever our enemy may throw at us, you overcome. YOU OVERCOME. You overcome by the blood of the Lamb who suffered and died for you.

Did God say that that we would not "feel" the heat of the fire? Did He say we would not "feel" like we are drowning when the flood waters overwhelm us? No, He said, we would "feel" and be affected by the trials and tribulations of this life. He knows you are dust and that you fight everyday against your own human frailty of soul. We ALL wrestle within ourselves between what to be true about God and where we are in our faith. An honest child of God knows that we feel afraid and we know that our God is able, that He is trustworthy and yet, wonder where is our faith when we need it the most?

Yes, this is the battle we wage. The enemy has never stopped trying to get us to question God…."Did God say…Did God really say?" You and I are in a battle. I wish we were not in that battle many days too. It is exhausting. God, however, did not ask us to "fake it till we make it." I do not believe that.

I believe that we are to be honest so that when God comes in suddenly and we know and see with spirit eyes what we did not see or know before, our eyes are opened and we know without any shadow of a doubt that God IS God, as He has spoken.

We KNOW one more truth, one more aspect of WHO our God is and that yes, after all is said and done He can be trusted after all. This is a growing process. It just is. BUT, we are on a redemptive pathway and road where our suffering counts and what we beleive in our hearts about the Lord Jesus Christ comes more into focus each day….understanding so deep that it strengthens us and makes us stronger than we were before, more convinced than ever that it is all about Jesus.

Our pain now takes on a glorious purpose.

People without the Lord can never experience that kind of knowing, of what growing closer to Jesus means to the point that no matter what the circumstances of life throw at us…we STILL believe in the PERSON of JESUS CHRIST and THAT is the most awe inspiring gift we can ever possess. Getting everything we want loses its fascination as we behold more and more the beauty of our King. When you are undone then Jesus becomes your all in all.

You have two things that no situation and no husband can ever take from you:

(1) You have the knowledge that there is an eventual way of escape (which is in all honesty a large part of the battle). There is no temptation to man that is not common but, HE who is faithful to you and will also give you that way out or way of escape. Sometimes God will overturn your circumstances and sometimes you will be changed in them. My personal experience is that while God coming in for the rescue is wonderful beyond description that still what I LEARNED about myself and God has been like purest gold to me. To be CHANGED, to KNOW God IS the most precious to me. To fall more deeply in love with Jesus is life itself. You will know this love.

(2) The other is that whether you stay for now or you go…. God is WITH you. You may not FEEL it, you may question yourself and God and the enemy of your soul may seek to destroy you but God's children do not lose in the end. You will get closer to God through every single thing you walk through. And you do go through. maybe not today or tomorrow but its time is fixed so that you can be able to bear it.

I started to post about "marriage" and something entirely different came out. I have no idea, I really don't but maybe the Lord in His great love for you knows you needed this.

I am praying for you and your husband and weep with you over your broken and bruised heart. Dear heart, there is something so special about you….so much so, even the Lord cannot find words to describe YOU. You make Him melt. There are not many words in our language that could do justice to WHO you are in your spirit woman. The way the Lord sees your heart is so far beyond how you think about yourself. You are ACCEPTED in the Beloved . God is so captivated by your love for Him. Your love is not loud and boisterous but quiet and faithful. God likes loud too but that is not you. When the Holy Spirit wants to go to a place to commune with His child, to find solitude, rest and a heart that is true….He thinks of YOU. You are to God filled with…sweetness and kindness. That is who you ARE to God and He has protected this about your heart at all costs. Do not fear, that any enemy will ever, ever be able to mar your precious heart.

Some say, one of the greatest attributes about God, that makes Him most approachable, is His KINDNESS.

When you ask Him for your heart's desire, Sweet One, He promises He will not give bitterness or hardship, or drive you like a slave master but He will give you a deep joy and a reverence, a fear of the Lord. Your kindness and sweetness are NOT weaknesses honey, they are your strengths.

You will know wisdom in the innermost parts because you refused to ever buy into the lie that the Lord is ever, ever wrong in taking you on the journey He purposed for you., You surrender to Jesus so SWEETLY (you are soft and tender toward toward God)…. and refuse to fight Him at any turn. You are so, so special, "eSPECIALly" in these ways.
