Reclaiming What Was Stolen & Getting Back More

Time to Get Your Life Back!

By: Deborah White Dove

Just as city streets are safer at night when the dark corners are well lit, we are going to identify the crime scenes and establish abuse-free zones in those areas. We first began by identifying your adversary, and now we're going to walk down the streets of your past and turn on the lamp lights.

Every time we identify an adversary, a crime scene, and declare what was stolen we then get to claim a "double portion" of our inheritance restored. I'm not talking about civil or criminal proceedings.

God says, "Rule in the midst of your enemies!" So let's go!

Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; love and faithfulness go before you. – Psalm 89

You're going to be called "Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings" – and that, to me, means restoring the heart of the family, the backbone of society.

Knowledge replaces fear. Education is the difference between Now and a Better Future.

Through this knowledge we are repairing the broken walls that were meant to protect our families!

Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings. – Isaiah 58

This is an exercise I learned in warrior school, as I applied for Graham Cooke's class. It's called "Instead of" and it's based on two of my favorite Scriptures from Zecharaiah 9 and Isaiah 61:

Return to your fortress, you prisoners of hope; even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you.

Instead of shame and dishonor, you will enjoy a double share of honor. You will possess a double portion of prosperity in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.

Here's the deal. Heaven's rules give us the upper hand, always.

Therefore, we are no longer victims. We are overcomers. We rule in the midst of our enemies. Thanks to Psalm 110, we have this promise:

The LORD will stretch forth Your strong scepter from Zion, saying, "Rule in the midst of Your enemies."

Behind the scenes, this is what is happening: We are establishing God's Throne here on earth. His throne is based on righteousness and justice. Do you see the scepter in YOUR hand?

When you make decisions and act on the principles of justice and righteousness, when you SPEAK the truth (in other words, your silence is not an accomplice to evil), in humility and love, you are bringing Heaven to earth.

You are shifting the atmosphere and creating an abuse-free zone.

I'm not saying that it's an "instant miracle" or an over-night change. When Nehemiah led the Israelites to rebuild the walls that had broken down around their city, each family was in charge of rebuilding the walls in front of their own door. With a sword in one hand and a shovel in the other, they fought and rebuilt at the same time. And this is what I'm talking about!

Faith is ACTIVE, not passive. Too many times we are praying passively, waiting for God to do something. Waiting on God is meant to be an active posture. The scepter is placed into our hands.

It's TIME! Here and now, to get your life back!

Your sword is being forged for you. It's created line upon line, God showed me. Every word you ACT on is a word that you know to be truth. It's not truth to you unless you've applied it, used it, tested it, and know how to wield it! Knowledge without action carries you nowhere, so let's see how to engage the enemy and win.

The rules of engagement:

1. Name your adversary. (I call it "Widow Maker". You might call it poverty, or scarcity, or intimidation… you might have more than one!) Yes, you really have to name your enemy!

2. Identify what was stolen from you (identity, finances, a house, assets, opportunity to use your gifts, a book that didn't get written, a business you lost, a damaged relationship, etc). I have done this at "Shalom, My Enemy", as an example.

Remember, each time we name something, we are turning on a street lamp as we walk purposefully down the streets of our past. We are lighting the lamps and pushing back the darkness.

Writing is a tool, like the shovels that Nehemiah's team used. We are writing ourselves into a better world, creating a new family legacy, and blessing the next generation.

Hi, I'm Deborah White Dove. Yes, it's my pen name, and it was given to me by a blind man who shyly whispered it to me in a Divine encounter. Yes, it's my real picture… just an ordinary selfie in my backyard.

I live with my family in the mountains, surrounded by ancient forests, pure streams, and mighty rivers. I work at a local grocery store to earn my living. My earthly needs are simple as I try to let my inner child lead me, instead of me trying to be what the world says I should be and do.

My kingdom of God career is a Heart Scribe. I love to write from God's heart and have been recording His living Word for the past three decades. It's brought me so much beauty, joy, peace, and happiness!

I love to inspire trauma survivors to write their life stories, unearthing the treasures of their past and sowing them into the future. We dip our pens in blood and write the pain away… as God has shown me how to do, in the company of supportive friends and family. We are writing ourselves into a better world and it's the most exciting place to be!

Yes, “reforge the sword” – not necessarily because it’s broken but because it needs to be stronger, taller, larger, extending farther and thrusting deeper and more powerfully than ever before!

The cool thing about "reforging" is that what is broken, is welded back together, put thru fire, hammered, put in fire, hammered, and put in fire…
Then, it is STRONGER than the original weapon!!

We will be, we are, stronger than 7 years ago, we have been hammered and re-fired many times.  But our sword is the sword of the Lord!  able to cut through bone and marrow…

love to all sword-wielding warriors!!

You always cause me to search deeper, Linda. That process of fire and hammering, yes…

There’s so much to share one day… but for now, as always, your words bring me right into God’s blacksmith shop. And yes, I say yes to more hammering and fire.

Thanks, my friend, so much!

Dear Sue — I love this!  I can identify with your horses, as recently the Lord spoke into my spirit to hold onto my hat, the ride was going to be fast and exciting!  And it is more so each day.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being faithful to help the lost and hurting find a ladder to climb out of the dungeons.  Bless you my friend.  Joyce

Wow… I love it when Abba does this… and it’s not that often that I hear someone else who had heard the invitation to ride…. but more than a ride, an adventure! Yes, it has been fast and exciting, more than I can put into a book. It feels like it would take at least a triology to share the adventure of the past 14-years, which was when I first heard the invitation. 14-years, wow…

I’m so very excited for you, my friend!!!
