Dancing in the Fire

Don't Miss the Chance to Dance in the Fire

By: White Dove

What if dancing and singing in the midst of your hardship turned the key to unlocking the provision God has stored up for you?

Over the years, I have discovered the power of singing and dancing to be true. What if our response to trials and even torture was to be laughter, singing, and dancing? The following is a dream parable I recorded in 2005 that has proven to be true, over and over:

"Would you and your people like a chance to enjoy life without trials?" the announcer offered.

Sam Logic replied, "Why, of course! Let's do it!"

The announcer replied, "Okay, Sam, for you and your people, let's do life without troubles."

And so it was.

Life was very good for a short while, but pretty soon Sam was wishing he had more excitement in his life. So he pondered, he searched and he found a very interesting project he wanted to work on. Satisfied that it was a perfect fit for he and his tribe, he went about starting it.

But he ran out of energy. He ran out of time. He ran out every resource necessary to complete this fine project.

Sam went to the announcer, "I need more strength! I need more energy! I need more resources!"

The announcer said with a smile, "Sam, if you had submitted to a life of trials and tests, you would already have enough strength, energy, and resources of every kind to do what you really want to do."

Have you ever wished for your trials to end? For life to become smooth? Try doing the opposite. Call for the Winds of Change! Embrace hardship and welcome the mystery of suffering. Be grateful for the trials and understand there is provision in every problem!

Oftentimes pain and problems are a gift. Trust is the key to opening the gift, and I believe it's the laughter, singing, and dancing that cause us to trust!

It's in the writing that even more illumination happens. Consider each dream as a puzzle piece and the process of writing is a game of putting the pieces together.

White Dove

Hi, I'm White Dove. Yes, it's my pen name, and it was given to me by a blind man who shyly whispered it to me in a Divine encounter. Yes, it's my real picture… just an ordinary selfie.

I live with my family in the mountains, surrounded by ancient forests, pure streams, and mighty rivers… but I also travel quite a bit.

My kingdom career is a Heart Scribe. I love to write from God's heart and have been recording His living Word for the past three decades. It's brought me so much beauty, joy, peace, and happiness!

I love to inspire trauma survivors to write their life stories, unearthing the treasures of their past and sowing them into the future. We dip our pens in blood and write the pain away… as God has shown me how to do, in the company of supportive friends and family. We are writing ourselves into a better world, beginning with discovering our own original design recorded in the DNA of our soul, and it's the most exciting place to be!

I came upon this post today, from Wild Woman Sisterhood

The Invitation

It doesn’t interest me
what you do for a living.
I want to know
what you ache for
and if you dare to dream
of meeting your heart’s longing.

It doesn’t interest me
how old you are.
I want to know
if you will risk
looking like a fool
for LOVE
for your dream
for the adventure of being alive.

It doesn’t interest me
what planets are
squaring your Moon…
I want to know
if you have touched
the centre of your own sorrow
if you have been opened
by life’s betrayals
or have become shrivelled and closed
from fear of further pain.

I want to know
if you can sit with pain
mine or your own
without moving to hide it
or fade it
or fix it.

I want to know
if you can be with joy
mine or your own
if you can dance with Wildness!
and let the ecstasy fill you
to the tips of your fingers and toes
without cautioning us
to be careful
to be realistic
to remember the limitations
of being human.

It doesn’t interest me
if the story you are telling me
is true.
I want to know if you can
disappoint another
to be true to yourself.
If you can bear
the accusation of betrayal
and not betray your own Soul.
If you can be faithless
and therefore trustworthy.

I want to know if you can see Beauty
even when it is not pretty
every day.
And if you can source your own life
from its presence.

I want to know
if you can live with failure
yours and mine
and still stand at the edge of the lake
and shout to the silver of the full moon,
“Yes.”

It doesn’t interest me
to know where you live
or how much money you have.
I want to know if you can get up
after the night of grief and despair
weary and bruised to the bone
and do what needs to be done
to feed the children.

It doesn’t interest me
who you know
or how you came to be here.
I want to know if you will stand
in the centre of the fire
with me
and not shrink back.

It doesn’t interest me
where or what or with whom
you have studied.
I want to know
what sustains you
from the inside
when all else falls away.

I want to know
if you can be alone
with yourself
and if you truly like
the company you keep
in the empty moments.

It's true. Sometimes pain brings about good things, though we very seldom WISH for that pain.

I think we'd be kind of sick if we truly wished for pain… but like those who do yoga, we embrace the discipline and something the pain, because we know there is something good that will come of it. Thanks, Amy, for being here today. 🙂

I am going to a great change on my personal life and business life and I find that you have to believe that what is your path and will succeed.

I do believe that we have to learn some lessons in life and believe me I am truly learning them.

Sometimes is so difficult to believe that everything will be fine, but I am getting, day by day, better at my phrase for 2014:  Believe and succeed

What a great phrase for 2014, Liliana! My word for 2014 is BELIEVE, so I'm right with you. Thanks so much for sharing 🙂
