Tell your story, heal your world.

We have enough victims in this dark world; we need more heroes. We each become the heroes and heroines of our own life stories as we realize that we are co-creating our life story with our Heavenly Father. And wherever people are living in Kingdom ways, there is Heaven.
"Your kingdom come and Your will be done. As it is in Heaven, so be it on earth," Jesus taught us to pray.
So why isn't there more of Heaven on earth? Have you ever pondered all the chaos in the world and thought how impossible it seems to turn this world right side up? I did, and that's when God showed me where the chaos comes from and how to be a peacemaker. "Blessed are the peacemakers for theirs in the Kingdom of Heaven," Jesus coached us.
The first step is to tell your story.
At first it may be messy and ugly, but that's okay! It's better than stuffing it, masking it, or burying it, for it carries the seed of resurrection power, the hope of redemption.
"A distinction must be made between that writing which enables us to hold on to life even as we are clinging to old hurts and wounds and that writing which offers to us a space where we are able to confront reality in such a way that we live more fully. Such writing is not an anchor that we mistakenly cling to so as not to drown. It is writing that truly rescues, that enables us to reach the shore, to recover." – Bell Hooks
"It is written." Those are the exact words Jesus used when all hell broke loose and tried to get him to follow the wrong leader!
"It is written" is the code that unlocks your inheritance. Your inheritance, including everything you need to fulfill your destiny was set aside for you at the foundation of the earth.
You claim your inheritance by telling your story.
It's the Gospel. It's the Good News. It's His Word against the sociopaths. We overcome by the blood of Jesus and the WORD of our testimony.
If you've ever had a test or a trial. You have a TESTimony. If you've ever been in a mess, you have a MESSage.
Tell your story!
We tell our tales not for pity, not because we're victims – NO! We tell our stories because they are memorial stones erected to tell the next generation: "This is who I AM. This is what God did through my little life. This is the inheritance God gave me and I'm sharing it with you." Your story creates your world.
We plant seeds of hope, perseverence, and faith for the next generations to harvest.
History is meant to be ALIVE & INTERACTIVE, and not just facts we memorize and spit out on tests!
We are rewriting our history. And as we each rewrite our history for the sake of the next generation, we are changing the history of this planet.
This is our inheritance as children of God. To receive an inheritance means you must first find out you have one and then claim your inheritance. Next, you must receive it. Where we tend to get it all wrong is we are too passive. We pray and expect things to appear out of nowhere. We go out into battle and get slaughtered. We miss our destiny. Our children then struggle too hard. And in the meantime, the socipaths keep ruling OUR territory!
This world's system has been grooming us to be mere spectators, robots, and dumbed-down people living a sub-human lifestyle. All the better for us to be a controlled society. For most people this is hell on earth. We CAN change this!
We change the world by changing the way we tell our story.
Your story matters!
We have a powerful hunger for stories. The person without a story is a person without a home. Sharing our stories and getting involved in the unfolding story of our friends and family makes us fully human. In a chaotic, often bewildering world, our shared stories become anchors in the stormy seas of life.

i love that idea of starting small and owning the story bit by bit until you're comfortable! 7 sentences. what an empowering way to simply begin!
Yes, it's not my original idea… I've been part of a fiction writer's group where we each share 8 sentences each weekend from our writing… and it's amazing how it encourages and feeds our souls, to be among other writers…. even for that little dip of water from their well. it's refreshing!
