Pretended Signs and Wonders

Slain by the Breath of His Mouth

By: Susan Deborah Schiller

You may be feeling weak and powerless, and yet the Spirit of God is BREATHING in you. His breath is like a FIRE in your belly. It doesn't feel good. It burns. You don't feel you can live through it.

You've been made a public joke, insulted and held in contempt by those who fear the exposure of evil. Evil is called good, and good is called evil, and you cannot keep quiet. You must go public, and yet you fear for your life.

Welcome to Jeremiah's club! You are a true prophet – one who is willing to endure the fiery blast from within. Words are easy to speak – and many words are spoken easily today. Crowds gather to see the great signs and wonders. They come to hear words that make them feel empowered and good about their lives.

But you, not you – you don't have the feel-good words. You don't care to judge. You don't want to point out the obvious wrongs. You would rather hide and stay silent. But the FIRE – the fire is burning you up and you can no longer remain silent!

You pushed me into this, God, and I let you do it.
You were too much for me.
And now I’m a public joke.
They all poke fun at me.
Every time I open my mouth
    I’m shouting, “Murder!” or “Rape!”
And all I get for my God-warnings
    are insults and contempt.
But if I say, “Forget it!
    No more God-Messages from me!”
The words are fire in my belly,
    a burning in my bones.
I’m worn out trying to hold it in.
I can’t do it any longer!
Then I hear whispering behind my back:
“There goes old ‘Danger-Everywhere.’ Shut him up! Report him!”
Old friends watch, hoping I’ll fall flat on my face:
“One misstep and we’ll have him. We’ll get rid of him for good!”

I believe in you. I believe in your mission.

You have been trained in the wilderness. The fire in your gut, I believe you're going to use it to release the captives.

Practice breathing out the fire. Practice until you can sustain the flames. Practice by speaking out. By going public. By saying what God gives you to say.

“For the mystery of LAWLESSNESS is already at work; only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. And then the LAWLESS one will be revealed, and the Lord Jesus will slay him with the breath of his mouth and destroy him by his appearing and his coming. The coming of the LAWLESS one by the activity of Satan will be with all power and with pretended signs and wonders,”
(2 Thess 2:7-10)

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:
In a vision, I saw angels standing on both sides of a gate above the earth.  They were blowing their trumpets and I heard the Lord say, "Come and enter here.  Do not live as an earth dweller; live as a kingdom dweller on the earth.  I am calling you to live in the power of My Spirit so that you can represent Me and My kingdom."

Colossians 3:1-2  If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.  Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
