My Loveliest Handmaiden

Pools of Refreshing and Rest

For SDS, compiled words of knowledge from her sisters

From the series, "Princess BlessingsAudio Version, Click Here

You are like Mary of Bethany, sitting and adoring at the feet of Jesus. Nothing and no one can take your eyes off of His face. Your offering of love has cost you everything. You have counted the cost and paid the price. With your tears, you bathe His feet.

You don't listen to the words of contempt all around you; you are willing to be a woman of bad reputation. The shame doesn't stick.

You smile through your tears, even if your throat is choked up. Jesus smiles back at you, mindful of all the reasons that have driven you to His feet. He is speechless at your affection and zeal for Him.

Because she loves me says, the Lord….

I will hide her in the day of trouble no matter what it may look to her.

I will deliver her children and write My name upon their hearts.

I will fight her enemies and she will see with her own eyes their demise.

I will bless her with an answer to her prayers for that financial need and for that one she is praying to be delivered from drugs and I will heal sickness.

I will give her the gift of faith as she has asked Me for.

I will love her with an everlasting love and free her from all of her doubts about this and make it REAL to her.

I will bind up those wounds emotionally you see no way of ever being closed….I will mend your heart, My love.

Thank you daughter for your steadfast heart,

For your sacrifice of praise,

For your lavish love,

For your extravagant worship,

For your prayers from your beautiful heart .

You walk in the Way of Love. Love is the greatest gift in the world to have and to give. If you feel like you don't yet measure up, put your own name into these sentences and your words will create your world.

Love never gives up.

Love cares more for others than for self.
Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have.
Love doesn’t strut,
Doesn’t have a swelled head,
Doesn’t force itself on others,
Isn’t always “me first,”
Doesn’t fly off the handle,
Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others,
Doesn’t revel when others grovel,
Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,
Puts up with anything,
Trusts God always,
Always looks for the best,
Never looks back,
But keeps going to the end.1 Corinthians 13

Love has made you a deep well, a place where many people come to receive living water. A gorgeous waterfall is nearby, pouring into a deep green pool.

A fruitful harvest grows, watered by this deep well and pool. In this place there is also a meadow with lots of sunshine and flowers.

You are a place where people find peace and wisdom to nourish their souls.

This prophetic blessing was created for me, actually, by the women I call my soul sisters. If you resonate, or if you desire, this blessing for yourself – its yours, too. We are One in Christ 🙂

It takes more than one reading to create your world with God's Word. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. You may want to read your word out loud, sometimes even several times a day! For weeks and months, if necessary. However long it takes to move the mountain in your path.

I hope you've found this helpful. If you'd like to, you're welcome to add to this blessing with your own words in the comment box below!

Thanks so much for being here, my friend!

Sue, I would like to add for you.  I don't really know the rules for what the ladies wrote, but here goes.  Without writing a novel here because I know I could…  You are a radiant light of hope and encouragement when nothing can be seen but darkness.  Longsuffering with so much mercy.  Your eyes are piercing to the soul and they show your heart, which has so much agape love.  Your literal voice is soothing and gentle, much like your words.  You are a faithful protector and lifesaver of many, with your bow and arrow in hand.  You are the last one standing with that lonely person in the room, whose friends have all left because they have tired of her story.  The difference is when you offer your own pen gently asking her to please share more.   Patient.  Graceful.  Beautiful.  Brave.  Thoughtful.  Strong. Nurturing.  Focused.  Determined.  Bold. Treasured.  Family.  Sister.  Friend.  Hero.  Honest.  Author.  Remarkable.  Integrity.  Devoted.  Prayer Warrior.  Missionary.  Example.  Leader.  Servant.  Life Giver.  Tender.  Mentor.  Loved Beyond Words. All this because you sit at the feet of Jesus Christ and bask in His glory.  You reflect everything because of HIM.  Oh, thank you for taking my hand and walking me home towards my Abba, towards my Redeemer in Jesus and awakening my understanding of Holy Spirit – who wants to live in all of the rooms of my house.  Your hands are the most precious loving human hands that I have ever held onto for dear life.  Because you have literally been the love – I am trusting and knowing my Father in Heaven in a different new way.  Challenging at certain times, but your pilot lessons paid off.  You are teaching others how to soar, including me.   I'm so grateful that God invited you to be that stranger in my room by leading me to your web site.  Stranger no more!  What an honor it is for me to have you in my life. Thank you for sitting in silence with me and also offering your shoulder to weep on.  Thank you for screaming for justice in my life and for the six that I love so much.  Thank you for extending God's beautiful redemption of love to me.  I am alive because I prayed and God sent you to demonstrate so much to me.  I know that I don't even have the full picture yet.  Thank you for living what you write and speak.  Your testimony is true and your life has so much fruit.  I'm so blessed that God looked at me and loved me so much to put you in the midst of my life, during the darkest moments… thank you for shining His light.   I love you and you are such a gift!  My heart sings praises for your life! One day we will be in heaven literally together and we'll see this time of darkness and sorrow in a whole different Light. But in many ways we have already been in the Throne room together, gazing on God's face, and receiving His mercy and grace.

I count it an extraordinary privilege to know you and I'm so glad you had the boldness to reach out to me. Thank you for your kind words. I need encouragement as much as anyone else, and you have blessed me far more than I feel comfortable receiving, but I will take that as God's nudge to receive even more deeply, His love through you.

God bless you richly, my friend!

I’m glad it blessed you, Joyce, you have a lovely heart and you’ve been a hard-working servant for many years! The Lord wants to serve you, as much as you desire to serve Him – probably heaps and loads more!

Thanks for sharing 🙂
