Heaven in Our World Today

Heaven in Our World Today

By: Susan Deborah Schiller    Create Your World Series

Heaven is inside us. It's our inheritance and we've been given the means to bring that piece of heaven into our outward world today!

Simple is better than complex. We must become childlike to enter the Kingdom of heaven.

What does it look like, on a practical day-to-day level, especially when you are under fire, in an abusive relationship?

Can we really create beauty out of chaos? I have been learning to do this, over the past few years since my recovery from a pathological relationship

My faith has taken a quantum leap since I began adding science and art to my spirituality. I have been learning to create my world by renewing my mind. I've come to recognize the value of neuroscience and the power I have to create happiness when I understand how my brain reacts to chemicals, hormones, stress, and speaking God's Word.

When I sing, dance, write, or simply snap a photo in the backyard, as a daily practice, I open the spiritual channels for beauty to radiate from the core of my being – that place called Home – into my outward life.

My inward life creates my outer life.

In a state of joy, peace, and love (the atmosphere of heaven) my words vibrate at the same rate as heaven, so when I speak God's Word, thinking in a powerful and positive way, I create beauty out of chaos wherever I am.

This is my inheritance as a daughter of God!

One of the oldest precepts of neuroscience has been that our mental processes (thinking) originate from brain activity: that our brain is in charge when it comes to creating and shaping our mind. However, more recent research has shown that it can also work the other way around: that focused, repetitive mental activity can affect changes in your brain's structure, wiring, and capabilities. The actions we take can literally expand or contract different regions of the brain, firing up circuits or tamping them down. The more you ask your brain to do, the more cortical space it sets up to handle the new tasks. It responds by forging stronger connections in circuits that underlie the desired behavior or thought and weakening the connections in others. Thus, what you do and what you think, see, or feel is mirrored in the size of your respective brain regions and the connections your brain forms to accommodate your needs. What does all this mean? It means that what we think, do, and say matters; that it affects who we become on the outside, the inside, and in our brain. Mostly, it means that you can retrain your brain to be more positive. – Source: Natural Blaze

What if we all learned to bring heaven into our world today.

I believe it's the Lord's Prayer that creates the reality of heaven on earth. Our words are that powerful. "As it is in heaven, so be it on earth," is how Jesus taught us to pray. He taught us to roll our cares onto him, telling us that we're only meant to carry the light load, when we are yoked to him.

I listen to many hard stories, from survivors, every day. It triggers me sometimes. There are times when it makes me feel heavy. But most of all, I can't help but have hope that we – the overcomers of sociopathic abuse – are meant to change this world.

God uses the foolish to confound the wise.

Never apologize for needing to move on, to care for yourself, or to take time to rest. Exercise, go to the movies, lay down on the ground and watch the clouds dance across the heavens.

Increase your happiness level and your whole being will vibrate in resonance with heaven's sounds, and your empowered words will change the world!

Be you. Live free. Tell your story!
