"Your book doesn't exist. It will never see the light of day," proclaimed my mother-in-law.

"If you write, I will sue you," threatened a man who is afraid of the day my book is published.

"You are writing a book that many people will not understand, but they need to hear it," prophesied a man who didn't know I was planning to write a book.

"I see you writing many books, and the first one will resurrect the child in you, and whoever reads it will also find their own inner child renewed," said a stranger at a conference, who was listening to God and speaking what he heard.

"Document your life story and publish it," said God, to me, in 2006.

"Finish," is the word I coach myself. Finish this book.

For you see, this book is writing Me. This book is creating my world. This book is stripping off the old and inviting the real me to step forward. To SHINE in the Light of Day.

No, I haven't finished yet, for this book cannot be rushed. But I feel its life pulsing from within and it will not be stopped. I will finish the course set out for me. I will never give up or look back.

I hope you are finishing the race set out for you, too. Is there anything stopping you? Are you, too, tempted to look back? What does crossing the finish line feel like, to you?

Choosing love today,

Sue
