Fill – Five Minute Friday

Fill these Pages

By: Susan Deborah Schiller    In "Five Minute Friday"

Fill

A single word,

One long, curvy sentence,

Bends and twists into a paragraph.

More than a million words, now,

Dance between the pages of my diaries.

Although the pages of my past will soon be dust,

And though this chapter is ending.

I will not be afraid

To sacrifice the words of my past,

To rewrite a new beginning.

Life is lived in the unknowing,

This is where I belong.

Filled to overflowing,

And no longer afraid.

I think we all have to rewrite a new beginning at some point in our lives.  Because life never goes as it was planned.

I'm visiting from FMF today.  I'm glad I dropped by and read your words.

Such beautiful words! "Life is lived in the unknowing" – I couldn't agree more. So much of life is about figuring out how to live and deal and function in a world in which so much is left unknown.

Hugs from FMF!
