Father’s Special Forces

Father's Special Forces

Dreaming with God, Part 3

By Susan Deborah Schiller

I'm sharing this dream for all the people who suffer in deep silence, and no one really sees them or hears them because their deep pain is hidden and their tortured spirits are locked away.

Yet underneath their facade is a deeply wounded person who cries inwardly and sees no way life will change. Outwardly they may appear to have the perfect marriage and family, but inwardly they are suffering from daily wounds no one else can see.

1-7 The Spirit of God, the Master, is on me because God anointed me.

He sent me to preach good news to the poor,
   heal the heartbroken,
Announce freedom to all captives,
   pardon all prisoners.
God sent me to announce the year of his grace—
a celebration of God's destruction of our enemies
and to comfort all who mourn,
To care for the needs of all who mourn in Zion,
give them bouquets of roses instead of ashes,
Messages of joy instead of news of doom,
a praising heart instead of a languid spirit. (Isaiah 61, The Message)

We know what it's like to be imprisoned and set free.

The thing to know, is that your release has already been put into effect.

Isaiah 58:6
"Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?

John 8:32
Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

If you feel your spirit is weak or even with a mortal wound, as mind had been, I hope you will these Scriptures and speak them into your spirit. And, one of the BEST things you can do is to call your spirit to LIFE with "Daily Blessings". More on that next time!

Susan Schiller knows how it feels to lose everything: marriage and family, church and reputation, finances and businesses, and more. Susan's upcoming, interactive memoir, "On the Way Home," tells the story of how she came to be known as "the most abused woman" her counselors had yet met and how she learned to navigate her way out of hell to a rich and satisfying life. In her lifetime, Susan has served in duties ranging from home school mom – to pastor –  to full-time deliverance minister – and to Midwest regional prayer coordinator for a large international ministry. These days you can usually find Susan soaking in her favorite hot springs pool, reading a book (or several), blogging, baking bread, or hanging out with her family and friends.
