Broken is the Beginning

"Enter through the Doorway of Hope," Daddy God once whispered to me.
"The valley of troubles is the Gateway to Hope," my friend Kimberly said.
"Broken is the beginning," author Glennon Dyle Melton is saying in this video.
Many of us see our own brokenness as an end to life, but, author, Glennon Doyle Melton, shares with us that it is only the beginning. Grief has a way of opening up parts of our lives to unexpected joy and hope. It helps us to see what is truly important in us and in others. – The Work of the People
God is reminding me of the utmost importance of Hope. The enemy will come to steal your hope, if he can. You may feel deluged by a flood of negative thoughts and fear-filled emotions.
I have experienced that whenever I have a day, or a string of days, where it feels like a plodding through thick mud, there is usually a great breakthrough just around the corner.
In troubled times, tell your story, even when your eyes are stinging and confusion is a fog clouding your direction. The act of writing brings clarity and a sense of direction. Tell your story to a team of supporters who are like family to you. Get your compass bearings from the promises God's spoken over your life.
Let those who have known brokenness and suffering remind you of who you are. We learn to trust when walking through the Valley of troubles.. Hope does not disappoint.
Romans 5:1-5
Therefore, having been justified by faith, [a]we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and [b]we exult in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only this, but [c]we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; 4 and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; 5 and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
Hope does not disappoint.

What is our response to tribulation (injustice, pain, abuse, etc)?
Writing prompt – Write a hope-full story. Write from the perspective of yourself 10-years from now, looking back on this time of troubles. Perhaps write from the perspective of one of your children or grandchildren as they remember you, after you are gone. What would they say about your character as you went through these circumstances? How will your legacy bless the next generation?
