Your Real Treasure is Found After You've Lost Everything

Our Father is the King of the whole universe. He created this earth to be our dwelling place. He made us lords and rulers, co-creators, and commanded us to build, to plan, to multiply, and to fill the earth!
The earth was meant to be fully inhabited by all creatures, plants, birds, sea creatures, and animals. In this masterpiece God designed the family to be the backbone, holding all of society together.
But something went wrong. Pride replaced obedience. Greed superceded hard work and diligence. Apathy caused each succeeding generation to back down from fixing the problems according to the principles of the Ancient Path. Instead, we established systems to hold us together, in place of trusting our Creator.
Now those systems are broken. The whole earth is groaning. Why? For What? It's for WHO – we are waiting and groaning for the SONS OF GOD TO MANIFEST ON THE EARTH! "Sons" is a gender neutral description of the people who LOVE GOD intimately, who pursue His heart above all else, who have learned and experienced through the Fire of His Love – all kinds of tests and trials – to TRUST Him above all else.
18For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us. 19For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God. 20For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope… – Romans 8:19
What if we lost our way Home due to complacency and taking our riches for granted? What if we needed to learn what it's like without our wealth? Without our health? Without love?
Maybe we were spoiled rich kids who needed a special place to give us a renewed zest for authentic living? These are the thoughts I ponder… a lot.
I believe God is bringing us Home.
…6"Therefore, you shall keep the commandments of the LORD your God, to walk in His ways and to fear Him.7"For the LORD your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, flowing forth in valleys and hills; 8a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey;… – Deuteronomy 8:7
I believe He's beginning by restoring the FAMILY AS THE BACKBONE OF SOCIETY! I believe He's replacing our broken systems by establishing JUSTICE and RIGHTEOUSNESS which are the foundation of His RULE – his KINGDOM here on earth.
I believe God's justice and righteousness are being mirrored here on earth by the sons of God who are arising!
How can we be a part of what my Father is doing today? By walking the Ancient Path of TRUST, HUMILITY, and not despairing at our own brokenness, but rejoicing that God delights in confounding the wise by using fools. He delights in using broken down fools to make things right in the world.
Yeah, my family is broken. I'm broken, too.
But we're not hiding it or masking it. We're willing to be naked and unashamed. We are pursuing righteousness and lending our hands and hearts to raise up the weak and bruised. We are running to the Light.
And maybe, just maybe… that is the beginning of re-discovering the TREASURES of this new earth God is creating, even now, through the SONS OF GOD manifesting on the earth today.
Don't look for them on the front pages or the glossy magazine covers. You won't find them there. They are quiet ones. They are wounded ones. They may look homeless and broke, but they carry the true treasure of Heaven wherever they go, in FAITH, HOPE, and LOVE.
We become who we behold.
Yeah, that might just be YOU! Downtrodden, full of fears and doubts… but nevertheless, you are looking UP and not DOWN! You are persevering, even under your heavy load. You haven't given up!
Rule in the midst of your enemies, God is saying to me. God's cleaning house, beginning in my own heart. I have to get rid of every ounce of pride, greed, and apathy from my own heart. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, not my own will power or strength, I'm learning to experience joy in this process of getting naked and unashamed.
